free style

welcome to FreeStyle!

by Lee Sykes on August 1, 2007

This template has been converted to DotNetNuke by DNN Creative Magazine. The original design is by Tony Pires: http://www.20pirates.com

Click here to download the skin

The template was inspired by some artist friends of Tony. You can replace the title by changing the text in the HTML or by using a bitmap graphics application to modify the background graphic and add your own styled text.

This skin comes with 1 layout in 2 versions

  • 1 using the logo from admin menu / site settings
  • 1 using a text header that you edit in the skin file

It also comes with 4 containers:

  • h1 container
  • h2 container
  • h3 container
  • transparent, no title container

bold and em styles

If you need to make more room for the blog titles and keep them on one line, simply adjust the size of the #content H1 style. Bold text looks like this. It's 'Arial Black' and #FFF just like the title and the headers, however, if the person viewing the site removed 'Arial Black' then the font-weight:600 property will take care of bolding it as much as possible.

Emphesized or italisized text looks like this. I don't think the look of Arial's italics stands out, so I usually swap it out with Georgia.
